Why don't we make mini sample sizes?

There have been sooo many suggestions for sample packs of mini lip balms, and I know people are all coming from such a good place with this, but minis would actually cost me just as much to make as regular size.

Some folks have been concerned that it means extra waste if they buy a full size product and decide it's not for them. But a mini lip balm isn't really eliminating much waste since it really isn't all that much smaller than our regular size lip balms in terms of packaging and actual product. This follower did a great job explaining why minis would be expensive if you want to pause to read a more detailed explanation.

What I do instead is offer what I call a starter pack. They’re all full size lip balms, and they are full price, but they’re all our best-sellers, so if you’re not sure what to get, these are a pretty safe bet. Unless you blatantly hate one of the flavors in it! In that case, you can just add flavors you like to your cart one by one.

And there are ways to save on your first order. If you subscribe to our mailing list, we always have a welcome discount for new subscribers, and you also unlock some subscribers only flavors that aren't available to the general public.
