What’s the Deal with Tariffs?

Here’s What U.S. Customers Need to Know

If you’ve been hearing about new U.S. tariffs on Canadian goods, you’re not alone! A lot of small businesses (including us!) have been following this closely, and we want to make sure you have the most up-to-date info on how it affects your orders.

Here’s the good news: Right now, there are NO extra fees or tariffs on U.S. orders under $800 USD.

So What’s Going On?

The U.S. has announced new tariffs on Canadian goods, but there’s an important exception called the de minimis rule. This rule allows shipments valued at less than $800 USD to enter duty-free, meaning that as long as this rule remains in place, you won’t have to pay extra fees when shopping with us.

However, the U.S. government has also signaled that changes could be coming to this rule. There’s no official timeline yet, but if and when the rule changes, U.S. customers could start seeing additional fees on orders from Canada.

What Does This Mean for You?

  • For now, everything is business as usual—no extra tariffs or fees on orders under $800 USD.
  • We’re keeping a close eye on any updates, and we’ll let you know if anything changes.
  • If you’ve been thinking about stocking up, now is a great time to do so while shipping remains smooth and duty-free!
