Behind the Business: Deirdra Caso and EasyJug

Curious about the magic that makes a business come to life? Join me each week as I introduce you to fellow business owners as they share their inspiring beginnings and the things they cherish most about their entrepreneurial journey.

Meet Deirdra Caso, Co-owner of EasyJug

EasyJug is the first hands-free water bottle designed for breastfeeding moms and is also loved by folks with mobility challenges who needs to hydrate with minimal effort.

Q: Why did you start your business?

A: My own breastfeeding experience.  It wasn't as easy as I thought and I wasn't prepared for how thirsty I would be.  I was exhausted and all I wanted was to lay down to breastfeed, but it was impossible to drink water in that position.  My husband was also tired of constantly getting me refills. It shouldn't be so hard to drink water. We couldn't find a water bottle to solve our problem.

Q: What do you love most about running your own business?

A: Connecting with our community! It fills my heart every time I hear from a mama that EasyJug was a game-changer in their breastfeeding journey. We know we're changing lives and helping mamas take care of their health and baby. I also love partnering with other brands and educators in the pregnancy/postpartum community. Collaboration is super fun and I love supporting women in business.

Q: What is your favorite product and why?

A: We are just about to launch our Ultimate Bundle which includes the EasyJug, external clip, and cleaning brush. The EasyJug is a 2.2 L water jug with a 47-inch straw. The external clip keeps the straw attached to your clothing for the ultimate hands-free hydration experience. Our cleaning brush is customized to fit our extra-long straw. You'll have everything you need!
