I tried many different store brands before but no matter what I tried, I kept having to re apply as it was not helping as much as I thought it would with my dry cracked lips.
I first seen Eclair Lips on Youtube making Lip balm and talking about her business. I have been wanting to try some artisanal-made things rather than just picking some up at like Walmart to see if they were at all different. I decided to buy some for me and my family as they suffer from chapped lips during the cold months.
It actually makes a huge difference. My lips feel so moisturized like it has just been to a spa. The smell is not over-powering and enjoyable. Goes on buttery and smooth.
After receiving my order I ripped open the package and applied some. Thats when I remembered a few years ago being on a bus going shopping to the Dieppe mall. I overheard someone explaining they made and sold lip balm and remember thinking how cool that was. When I saw a picture of Sylvie I remembered the voice and glasses. It's always nice to know that people can still be successful without being overtaken by large corporations. Which inspires me to continue on my own journey in software, despite there being large companies doing similar things.
Eclair Lips has done a very good job coming this far and being popular. I like the idea of supporting small businesses that really care about the product they make and the feedback of their customers. I will definitely be buying more for Christmas.
By biggest question when researching this brand was "but how does it FEEL?". I knew the smell would be great, I knew it would be tasteless (due to no sugar added) and I knew it was "good", but I didn't know how it would actually compare to drug store lip balms.
What I can tell you is that this legit feels like applying a fantastic moisturizer to your lips. It's extremely creamy and hydrating. I'm addicted to it and I keep wanting to apply more just for the experience of applying it when I legit don't need to because my lips are already moisturized from the previous application lol.
The finish isn't glossy at all, more of a satin shine. It's very subtle visually but the feeling is, again, amazing.
My only feedback is that it would be nice to have a window in the packaging so we can see how much we've gone through already.
I love moon mist ice cream and lip balms from Eclair Lips, and this lip balm does not disappoint!
i grew up in new brunswick and moon mist was my absolute favourite ice cream. when i moved to alberta at 13 and learned that the flavour was local to the east coast i was GUTTED. this lip balm smells JUST LIKE IT! i am obsessed and hope you never ever stop making this scent. the fact that this is the best lip balm i’ve ever used is the cherry on top!
Everyone in my family loves the smell of this lip balm. I like that it doesn't taste because my kids are always licking their lips with other lip balms and making their lips worse. We will definitely be buying more.
I've only tried a couple of the flavors I ordered (I'm planning to use some as Christmas presents), but out of what I have tried so far, I absolutely LOVE them! The exfoliation one feels great on my lips, and the others are just so moisturizing!!! While I still think the price is a little high, I'll probably end up being a return customer when I run out. They're that good. Next time I might even try a tinted one too.
