I recently tried this new lip balm and was immediately impressed by several factors. Fragrance: bright, mildly tart yet delightful; the scent reminds me of watermelon bubble gum I had as a child but combined with rhubarb. It sounds odd, but that's the memory it brings to mind; it is soothing and not at all overpowering but lingers pleasantly, making it a joy to reapply throughout the day. Application: it feels incredibly smooth and not at all greasy or gooey (I cannot stand applying something that feels like my lips are thickly glued together and parting ways when I talk as if my lips were stuck in marshmallow goo (the stuff you add to popcorn)). It glides over the lips with ease and provides long-lasting moisture without feeling heavy. Reapplication: it has a long lasting moisturizing+stay aspect that shocked me. Most tend to fade after an hour but this lasted a good 5+ hours for me (even held up to drinking). Taste: barely noticeable which is perfect for me. There is a very mild flavor that is enjoyable-I cannot put a specific flavor assignment as it doesn't last but a moment and ultimately you'd have to continue licking your lips to figure it out. Maybe I'll take time to do that another day, but today is for enjoying my new lip balm. SPF factor: There is no mention on the website nor the lip balm packaging, so I would have to venture it doesn't have this. But, don't let that keep you for getting this jewel! I think if this line of lip balm could include the SPF, it'd top the charts for all aspects since we often wear lip balm outside. Overall, it's so rare to find a lip balm that nails fragrance, texture, taste and application so well for me, that it's hands down the best lip balm I've ever used. Big box stores look out!
